Since 2005, CSBS has been the preferred supplier to BBC Radio Scotland to produce outside broadcast coverage of major golf events. Extensive output from the Scottish Open, first at Loch Lomond and then Castle Stuart, and the Open Championship, when it takes place in Scotland, has been broadcast and streamed online to the BBC website. We have provided technical facilities for these broadcasts since 1997. We have also produced rugby and music programmes for broadcast.
In 2012 the company began production of ‘THE GOLF SHOW’, a live weekly magazine programme on BBC Radio Scotland featuring news, interviews, reports and features on golf in Scotland and throughout the world. This popular series, presented by Graham Spiers and Alan Tait, is broadcast from our own studio as well as from various outside broadcast venues across the country. It achieved good listening figures and high levels of weekly podcast downloads. The show will return to the airwaves in 2014.
